EDMODO
We know the ways people to communicate have changed as time passes by and learn and education could not stay out of these changes, for that reason EDMODO was create to help teachers and students. It is a private social platform for education that creates a virtual communication in the classroom and beyond with students, teachers and families. Here you can share files, messages, links, calendar, tasks, activities etc. that can be managed from the platform itself. Also, this is a free service well suited for high school students and its pages are private by default, that is, the information is accessible only to those who enter your username and password. Edmodo is very easy to create and manage, not requires great knowledge in new technologies. It allow to create accounts be specific as teacher or student. There are the steps to create an account: step 1: Sign up as a teacher or student; step 2: complete the form; step 3: student registration; step 4: enter code to join the group; step 5: now student can receive messages from their teacher. Furthermore as teachers we can create groups follow those steps; STEP 1: Click on the link created. STEP 2: introduce the name of the group / class to create. STEP 3: Once your group has been created you will receive a message at the top saying the group names. In conclusion, it offer different options to teacher and students also. Teachers can upload files, links, tasks, notes, special announcements, besides being able to dialogue with students through a wall that resembles of Facebook. Students contact directly teachers and / or instructors, send messages to other students and interact with students in a common environment.
